Introduction:
Have you seen Jurassic Park and Ice Age movies? What have you noticed with the characters? Can you still see them in the wild? In Zoo? Or just a picture of them in a book or in the net? Sad to say but they were all totally vanished from this world. And now, there are more animals that are endangered and near to be extinct. But there’s still hope and we should take the action right now!
The Task:
Imagine that your group is composed of well-known animal investigator in your town trying to find the answers of this mysterious case. But to be equipped with enough knowledge, you need to answer the listed questions below. Also, visit the pre-listed web sites to gather evidence to solve the case. At the end, the Big Challenge is waiting for you to unlock the mystery case. You need to choose among the listed characters to be portrayed on while making the project.
· Researcher – will research on 10 endangered animals with its scientific name in our locality, community, or country.
· Archaeologist – will provide the history of the researched animals, its numerical data and status nowadays.
· Designer – will layout the design of your database and its flow from tables to reports.
· Database Manager – will provide the database program for the 10 chosen animals..
The Process:
1. You will be group accordingly into 4 members each.
2. Choose a role to portray in making the project.
3. Perform your corresponding task and showcase your result to your group mates.
4. Collaborate in making the database program and suggest some concepts that will help improve the project.
5. Showcase your output to the class by preparing a PowerPoint presentation for your finding and the database program for your data.
